We have been teaching an Step-by-step Curriculum for the last 10 years, specifically designed for the adult beginner.
Our Curriculum deconstructs the 8 pillars of the handstand to make it accessible and easy to understand to everyone, even if you have no background whatsoever.
Instead of mindlessly trying without much result, we want you to understand the why and how behind everything.
You will learn to trust (again) your body.
Your will discover how listening to your nervous system allows to pick the drills and exercises that will make you progress the fastest, rather than pushing through.
Our approach is highly Individualised.
We work with individuals, and don't believe in one size fits all approaches. The exercises you perform, in a group of your level, are therefore adapted and tailored to your needs and possibilities: strength, mobility, previous experience or lack thereof, preferred pace of learning... we take everything into account for the best learning experience.
We will study how to program smart and efficient training sessions, debunk many preconceived ideas and learn unique drills that will maximise your progress.

HANDSTAND FOUNDATIONS
an 8-week beginner course designed for people with no or little experience
Our goal🎯: taking you to 15 seconds of consistent freestanding handstands
You will learn all the techniques and drills that suit your body to stay on your hands.
A study group of your level, a passionate teacher and a unique, proven methodology.

Who is this for?
BEGINNERS
Our Handstand Course is built in particular for people who understand the value of intelligent programming, but feel lost or overwhelmed with the amount of info out there, & are not sure which exercises to prioritise.
We will design together your handstand tool box, filled with easy-to-follow progressions to conquer fear, learn to kick-up and understand balance.
UNDER/OVER SHOOTERS
If you have some experience with handstands but...you have a tendency to fall short of reaching the floating position, either against the wall or freestanding...or you never quite find enough power to reach that wall... following the recipe laid down in these classes will fix all the wrong habits you have developed in your practice and allow you to kick up with control and ease.
AFRAID TO FALL?
80% of the students we have met along the years were facing some form of a mental block.
As long as your nervous system will associate some danger with being upside down, it will not allow you to kick up without a wall or a spotter.
Whether you are aware of that fear or not, working on harnessing the signals of your nervous system is one of the most important, yet underrated, ways to make fast progress in handstands.
INVERSION AFFICIONADOS
You aren't a complete beginner but haven't achieved a 30- second, consistent, freestanding handstand yet.
The culprit here is that you have left a few stones unturned on the way. And you will keep plateauing until you manage to diagnose what foundation needs to be reexamined, pin down the bad habits you may have subconsciously taken along the way, and fix them.

Who is your teacher?
With 10 years of experience teaching adult beginners how to handstand, Vincent Vis is the most established handbalancing teacher in Dublin.
Despite a background in dance and circus, Vincent only learnt handstands as an adult, just like you - allowing him to create a method designed for complete beginners, without the time commitment and flexibility of younger aspiring gymnasts.
At the core of his teachings and research: embracing your unique body and showing you how to adapt your training around it.
He teaches in-person in Dublin as well as online, with students in their 40s, 50s and 60s all over the world.
